FORIS plans to sell a total of 750 companies (limited liability companies and joint stock corporations) this year.
FORIS now intends to extend this business by offering brand names. The company has concluded a cooperation agreement with rotor Medien GmbH (Berlin) for this purpose. The goal is to create brand names, have them protected, and then sell them. The products offered will include word and word-image combinations, the corresponding Internet domains and vanity numbers. Prices will range between DM 25,000 and 45,000 depending on the scope of services used. The first 150 draft brands will be available before the end of the year
With the increasing internationalization of commerce, it is becoming harder and harder to find suitable brand names that have not already been taken. Offering new free brands is thus a profitable and future-oriented business. As in the acquisition of pre-formed companies, speed is of the essence in the creation of brands. FORIS is taking advantage of additional synergy effects in this regard.
