The TePla AG, Kirchheim near Munich received orders over DM 4.9 mio in June. That is by far the highest order intake ever been received by the Munich company in one month. Thus more orders could be won in the month of June alone than in the entire first quarter of the current financial year (DM 4.4 mio).
Driving force behind this development is the continueing upswing in the semiconductor market. This contributed to the fact that TePla could book orders over DM 14.2 mio in the first half of 2000, thus increasing the previous year's value (DM 9.2 mio) by over 50 per cent. In the course of the positive development in June, the order intake expected for the first six months could be exceeded by 27 per cent.
Detailed numbers of the first half-year 2000 are to be published on August 30th 2000.
