Neuer Markt-listed IVU Traffic Technologies AG (WKN 744 850) has published its results for the first nine months of 2000:
- Revenue rises to DM 15.45 million (from DM 12.40 million at September 30, 1999)
- Gross profit climbs to DM 19.98 million (up from DM 11.8 million at September 30, 1999)
- EBIT improves to (DM 2.31 million) (compared with (DM 4.67 million) at September 30. 1999)
- DVFA earnings of (DM 0.09)/share (up from (DM 0.35)/share in the previous year)
- At just on DM 32 million, new orders acquired in the first nine months have risen by around 50 percent year-on-year.
Revenue rose to DM 15.45 million at September 30, 2000, compared with DM 12.40 million at September 30, 1999, representing an increase of 25 percent and in line with IVU's planning for the year. EBIT improved during the period under review from (DM 4.67 million) at September 30, 1999 to (DM 2.31 million) at September 30, 2000.
The gross profit at September 30, 2000 rose almost 70 percent year-on-year, from DM 11.78 million to DM 19.98 million. Much of this increase was used for investments in human resources. The number of employees grew by 32 percent to 233 at September 30, 2000 (204 full-time equivalents). Staff costs rose to DM 14.1 million (from DM 10.0 million in the prior-year period).
DVFA/SG EBIT improved from (DM 4.67 million) to (DM 2.31 million) and thus by 51 percent. EBITDA (DVFA/SG) rose from (DM 2.29 million) in the first nine months of 1999 to DM 0.71 million in the first nine months of 2000.
Not including IPO costs, the net loss improved from (DM 4.67 million) at September 30, 1999 to (DM 1.14 million) at September 30, 2000.
New orders also recorded a positive trend, with new business booked in the first nine months of 2000 rising by almost 50 percent (currently at DM 32 million) over the prior-year period (DM 21.6 million). This has given us the basis for further above-average growth.
