With effect from March 13, 2001 caatoosee ag has acquired a 100 % stake in inPuncto GmbH via its Swiss subsidiary redtoo ag. The company is headquartered in Stuttgart-Weilimdorf.
InPuncto GmbH was established in 1997 and provides extensive expertise in the development of Windows- and web-based PLM solutions for the engineering sector using SAP products. In collaboration with partners such as Bentley Systems, a leading software provider in the area of facility management solutions, and OCE, a specialist in professional services for the printing sector, inPuncto is well positioned in the engineering market. inPuncto GmbH currently employs 30 professionals at sites in Stuttgart, Walldorf and Hannover. The clients are primarily originating from the fields of plant engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace and automotive.
With the acquisition of inPuncto GmbH via its subsidiary redtoo ag caatoosee ag grows its service portfolio by product lifecycle management (PLM) solutions in the SAP environment and by engineering and facility information management solutions in the Bentley environment. Geared towards the business integration market, redtoo ag is now covering the entire value chain in facility engineering solutions and is integrating these solutions seamlessly into its customers'SAP supply chain management systems. InPuncto GmbH's range of services enable the caatoosee group to further enhance the data flow within corporations. Furthermore caatoosee expects cross-selling opportunities as a result of the cooperation between inPuncto and TeraPort.
The managing directors of inPuncto GmbH, Dr.-Ing. Frank Marcial and Dr.-Ing. Jürgen Matthes, will continue to lead and develop the company and integrate it into the growing network of the caatoosee group.
