Elena Jasvoin appointed Group Director Finance

Effective March 1, 2016, Elena Jasvoin (37) becomes responsible for Group Finance at Ringier Axel Springer Media AG. She succeeds Emily Kruse (34), who is leaving the company after five years at her own request.
In her role as Group Director Finance, Elena Jasvoin will be responsible for coordinating the financial management of Ringier Axel Springer Media AG and its subsidiaries and will report to Mark Dekan, CEO Ringier Axel Springer Media AG. Controlling, Corporate Treasury, and SAP will report directly to her.

Before joining Ringier Axel Springer Media AG, Elena Jasvoin worked from 2013 as Managing Director and CFO at Zeppelin Systems Russia & CIS, where she established and led the plant engineering business. Prior to this, she held several other executive posts within the same organization, among them CFO for Zeppelin Russia. Beforehand, she worked in various other companies, including Amtel properties development, Metro Cash & Carry, and Ernst and Young. Elena holds an Executive MBA from IMD Lausanne and an MBA Degree from California State University.
Emily Kruse joined Ringier Axel Springer Media AG in September 2010 as Head of Group Accounting and set up and developed the Group accounting department. In 2013, she became Deputy CFO. In January 2015, she assumed additional responsibility as Group Director Finance. Prior to this, Emily gained international financial experience in various assignments at Hugo Boss AG over several years.
