Personnel changes in the Executive Board of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics

Osnabrück, January 13, 2021. The Chief Financial Officer of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, Dr. Michael Noth, has decided not to extend his contract expiring in 2021 in order to take on new tasks outside the company. Together with the company's CEO, Reiner Heiken, he has played a key role in driving Hellmann's realignment in recent years. Through operational and strategic measures, he has made a significant contribution to strengthening the company's financial power. As part of a scheduled handover, he will hand over the reins to his successor in spring 2021. In this context, the Supervisory Board of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics appoints Martin Eberle as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The 48-year-old Swiss national will take on his new role in spring and, together with CEO Reiner Heiken, will form Hellmann's Executive Board in the future.

Martin Eberle, who began his career in banking at UBS, looks back on more than 20 years of financial experience in the logistics industry. With Kuehne + Nagel, his former employer, he held various senior financial management positions in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Most recently, he was Global Head of Accounting and Controlling at Kuehne + Nagel's head office in Schindellegi.

Following the successful repositioning of Hellmann in recent years, the goal of the Supervisory Board and the Executive Board is to generate further solid growth in all regions and across all product areas. In addition, the growth plan envisages boosting efficiency by continuously increasing the level of digitalization, thereby further optimizing financial performance and service quality along globally defined standards.

Dr. Thomas Lieb, Chairman of Hellmann's Supervisory Board, welcomes Mr. Eberle as a new member of the Executive Board: "With his profound understanding of the industry and his many years of experience in finance and controlling, Mr. Eberle will play a key role in further expanding Hellmann's global presence and market share."

"We would like to thank Dr. Noth for his successful work on the Executive Board of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics SE & Co. KG and wish him all the best for the future," continued Dr. Thomas Lieb.
