EV Charging startup Charge Construct becomes has·to·be gmbh Solutions Partner
With establishing the German charging infrastructure at the core of the young company’s business, be.ENERGISED comes into play as the backend software.
German EV Charging startup Charge Construct is one of the most promising new arrivals in its sector. Its primary focus is on helping charging infrastructure operators, manufacturers and full-service providers scale their business models. The Ingolstadt-based firm does this by enabling quick execution of charging infrastructure projects. In choosing to become one of has·to·be gmbh’s Solutions Partners, it will be able to count not only on the be.ENERGISED software as its chosen centralized backend solution for charging infrastructure operation, but also on the wider portfolio of EV Charging services offered by the Austrian specialist. Among the first major clients, Charge Construct will look after with the help of be.ENERGISED will be medium-sized petroleum companies, gas station operators, apartment owner associations, and company fleet operators from both Germany and Austria.
The demand for publicly accessible charge points in Germany has been estimated at 843,000 by the year 2030, given a figure of almost 15 million electric and plug-in vehicles in circulation at that point.1 With the European Commission’s ‘Fit for 55’ climate package implying an effective ban on the homologation of internal combustion engines, there’s increasing pressure on the mobility industry to invest in alternative drive train technology. For the charging infrastructure to cope with eVehicle sales growth, it’s particularly important that it grows at the same pace – and sooner rather than later. That’s exactly where Charge Construct’s service comes in: the young company develops bespoke EV Charging concepts, provides the hardware required, and helps clients find and market suitable locations or premises.
A strong partnership for strong growth
A specialist consultant for clients looking for charging solutions in the public, semi-public and private spheres, Charge Construct provides all installation, operation, maintenance, and billing associated with charging infrastructures. Now it will be using be.ENERGISED as the backend software for its projects, which ensures optimal infrastructure operation and billing. It also means no longer relying on third parties for these services, thus expanding its in-house portfolio to become a full-service provider. On top of that, the software allows the startup ultimate flexibility when it comes to hardware – thanks to its compatibility with all charging station models available on the European market. This enables borderless scaling. Inbound roaming via the COMMUNITY will also come into play – this makes charge points available to the public and means they’re marketed via the software specialist’s network.
“As a Solutions Partner, Charge Construct is increasing our market penetration in the DACH region,” remarks has·to·be gmbh CEO Martin Klässner. “We’re pleased that this young EV Charging company has gone with our be.ENERGISED software from the very start of its journey. And we’re also looking forward to working with them as we push the expansion of a comprehensive charging infrastructure.”
Charge Construct CEO and co-founder Adrian Zierer is equally excited about collaborating with has·to·be gmbh as a Solutions Partner. Having already worked with the EV Charging specialist before founding the startup, he knows just what he can expect when using be.ENERGISED. “Over the last few years, I’ve come to know has·to·be gmbh as a reliable, flexible partner. Thanks to the be.ENERGISED software platform, they’re able to take on complex challenges and come up with exactly the right solutions. As a Solutions Partner, we’ve now got everything we need to be able to offer our clients added value through efficient operation and billing services.”
