Launch of canSERV Call for Service Provision, "Training the Next Generation of Cancer Researchers" – an opportunity for all Early Career Researchers.

The canSERV consortium is excited to announce the launch of the next Challenge Call for Service Provision to empower early career researchers. This call will provide free access to cancer services including training opportunities to enhance the professional development of the next generation of researchers. Early career researchers, including PhD students, postdocs, junior researchers, and assistant professors, are encouraged to apply for this unique opportunity. A total indicative budget of EUR 500.000 is allocated and is open to researchers worldwide.

The call is open to any aspect of cancer research, ranging from basic discovery science to translational research, personalized oncology, or clinical trials. Importantly, projects must align with at least one of the key strategic goals of the EU Cancer Mission. These goals are (i) enhancing our understanding of cancer, (ii) improving prevention and early detection, (iii) advancing diagnosis and treatment, and (iv) improving the quality of life for patients and their families.

To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must be in the early stages of their careers, such as PhD students, junior researchers, postdoctoral researchers, and assistant professors from academia or industry. In addition, applicants are invited to apply for training that complement other requested services.

canSERV offers more than 400 innovative cancer research services that can be requested via the project website and the unique Common Access Management System. Successful applicants will benefit from free access to cutting-edge services that will be provided by 13 leading European Life Science Research Infrastructures and associated service providers.
