High recognition for Obrist by the United Nations
Dubai, Lustenau/Austria, December 4th, 2023 – At the UN Climate Change Conference COP28 in Dubai, the Obrist Group received three recognitions from the United Nations.
Firstly, company founder Frank Obrist has become an advisor to the United Nations. He has been accepted as a new member of the UN think tank Diplomatic Council. The Diplomatic Council combines a global think tank, a worldwide business network and a charity foundation with consultative status at the United Nations.
Secondly, the book "Prosperity and Economic Growth without Regrets: Climate Rescue Yes - Deindustrialization No" (ISBN 978-3-98674-104-4) was published by the Diplomatic Council on the occasion of COP28. It describes the technology developed by the Obrist Group over many years for the economic production of green methanol as a renewable energy source for the global economy.
Thirdly, the HyperHybrid vehicle drive concept developed by the Obrist Group, which is also described in the book, was recognized by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) as a winner in the field of sustainable mobility. The "Winner Certificate" states: "This is to certify that 'HyperHybrid - The Future of Sustainable Mobility' is the Most Promising Solution Award Winner in Energy Efficiency Category."
