Bonn/Frankfurt/Leipzig, 9. November 2022: Bei AeroLogic, dem Joint Venture von DHL Express und Lufthansa Cargo, ergeben sich auf Management-Ebene personelle Veränderungen. Seit dem 1. Oktober 2022 ist Katharina Prost neu als Geschäftsführerin für den Bereich Finanzen und Verwaltung bei AeroLogic verantwortlich. Zuvor war sie als Geschäftsführerin bei Aeromar tätig, einem Joint Venture von Aeroflot und LSG SkyChefs in Russland. Sie folgt auf Martin Hirsch, der im Juni als Head of Finance zu Austrian Airlines gewechselt ist.
Dank einer Vertragsverlängerung bleibt Joe Moser, Geschäftsführer Operations und Accountable Manager der AeroLogic GmbH, auch weiterhin aktiv in seiner bestehenden Rolle, die er seit März 2017 innehat. Zuvor leitete er bei AeroLogic die Flight Operations und das Crew Training.

AeroLogic als Joint Venture besteht zwischen DHL Express und Lufthansa Cargo seit 2007 und hat ihren Sitz am bedeutenden Frachtstandort Leipzig. Der Start der gemeinsamen Operations geht auf Sommer 2009 zurück. Aktuell vermarktet Lufthansa Cargo die Kapazitäten von insgesamt 16 Boeing 777-Frachtern. Davon werden fünf Flugzeuge bei AeroLogic gechartert und auch von AeroLogic-Crews bereedert, sie operieren jedoch unter einer Lufthansa Cargo-Flugnummer. Die AeroLogic-eigene Flotte besteht insgesamt aus 21 Flugzeugen des Typs Boeing 777F.

New appointment to the AeroLogic management team

Bonn/Frankfurt/Leipzig, November 9, 2022: There are personnel changes at management level at AeroLogic, the joint venture between DHL Express and Lufthansa Cargo. Since October 1, 2022, Katharina Prost is the new Managing Director responsible for Finance and Administration at AeroLogic. Previously, she served as managing director at Aeromar, a joint venture between Aeroflot and LSG SkyChefs in Russia. She succeeds Martin Hirsch, who joined Austrian Airlines as Head of Finance in June.
Joe Moser, Managing Director Operations and Accountable Manager of AeroLogic GmbH, has extended his contract and will remain active in his existing role, which he has held since March 2017. Previously, he led Flight Operations and Crew Training at AeroLogic.
Dorothea von Boxberg, Chairperson of the Executive Board and CEO of Lufthansa Cargo, said: “With Katharina Prost, we have been able to win an experienced manager for AeroLogic and welcome her warmly. AeroLogic, as a joint venture, has existed between DHL Express and Lufthansa Cargo since 2007 and is based at the important cargo location of Leipzig. The start of the joint operations dates back to summer 2009. Lufthansa Cargo currently markets the capacities of a total of 16 Boeing 777 freighters. Of these, five aircraft are chartered from AeroLogic and also operated by AeroLogic crews, but they operate under a Lufthansa Cargo flight number. The AeroLogic-owned fleet consists of a total of 21 Boeing 777F aircraft.
