GEA has been recognized as a “Top Employer 2024" in Europe. The Top Employers Institute has certified the machinery and plant manufacturer as a Top Employer in five countries. GEA aims to receive Top Employer certification also for other countries in 2025.

GEA recognized as a “Top Employer 2024” in Europe
Duesseldorf (Germany), January 18, 2024 – GEA ranks among the leading employers in Europe in 2024. The Top Employers Institute has certified the machinery and plant manufacturer as a Top Employer in five countries. Belgium and Portugal were recognized for the first time, while Germany, Poland and Spain were re-certified. GEA aims to receive Top Employer certification also for other countries in 2025.
The results of the Top Employers Institute’s HR Best Practices Survey confirm GEA’s good performance over the past year. Once again, the company attained high scores in the categories “Sustainability”, “Leadership” and “Ethics & Integrity”. Additionally, the group’s consistent communication in its Mission 26 growth strategy impressed in the “Business Strategy” category.
“Becoming an employer of choice is one of our key strategic goals,” explains GEA CEO Stefan Klebert. “This independent certification is a clear sign that we are on the right track. We are proud to have successfully created an attractive and motivating working environment at our locations worldwide.”
The Top Employers Institute assesses companies based on the information they provide in the HR Best Practices Survey. The survey encompasses six overarching HR dimensions that cover 20 HR themes, including “People Strategy”, “Work Environment”, “Talent Acquisition”, “Learning”, “Well-being” and “Diversity & Inclusion”.
