Direkt Anlage Bank AG (DAB), has signed an exclusive cooperation agreement for the placement of initial public offerings with investment bank Equinet AG, Frankfurt/Main. For its own lead mandates for IPOs, Equinet will include DAB exclusively as Co-Manager for the retail division (sale of stocks to private investors) in the syndicate. This year, DAB customers have already participated in 32 subscriptions, chiefly in cooperation with Hypo Vereinsbank. This makes DAB the market leader among Germany's discount brokers in terms of IPO's. By means of strategic partnerships of the kind launched with Equinet, DAB will continue to extend facilities for its customers to subscribe to IPOs without developing into an investment bank itself in the process. Equinet AG is a young, dynamically growing investment company. Since its establishment Equinet has provided advisory services to accompany more than 20 companies to the stock market, 16 of which on the Neuer Markt segment of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Equinet specializes in assisting and taking care of innovative small- and mid-cap companies.
