Cologne, 5 June 2007 - DocCheck AG (ISIN DE0005471007 //Symbol 547100) has today completed the second phase of its share buy-back programme and now holds 191,500 of its own shares, which equates to 3.2 per cent of the capital stock. The DocCheck AG Board of Directors decided to continue the buy-back programme and to purchase a further 100,000 shares. The basis for the share buy-back is the resolution adopted at the Annual General Meeting held on 31 May 2006 which empowered the company to buy back a maximum of 590,431 shares by 30 November 2007 (10 per cent of the capital stock). The purchase of the shares starts on 6 June 2007 and takes place exclusively via the stock exchange. The purchase price paid per share must not fall below or exceed by more than 10 per cent the price of a company share as determined by the opening auction held on the same trading day on the XETRA trading platform. The aim of the share buy-back is to optimise the capital structure. All transactions carried out during the course of the share buy-back programme are published weekly on the DocCheck AG website (www.doccheck.ag) under the heading Investor/Share Buy-Back.
