Automobili Lamborghini Holding focuses Group activities
Subsidiaries in Italy restructured

Automobili Lamborghini Holding S.p.A., a subsidiary of AUDI AG, is expanding its area of responsibilities: AUTOGERMA S.p.A.,Verona, importer of the brands Audi, Seat, Skoda, Volkswagen and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, is to be fully transferred from Volkswagen Beteiligungs-Gesellschaft m.b.H. to Automobili Lamborghini Holding S.p.A. This means that all automotive activities in Italy will be combined under the umbrella of a single national holding company in future, as has already happened in Spain. This was agreed to today by the Supervisory Board of VOLKSWAGEN AG.
Automobili Lamborghini Holding S.p.A., which is based in Sant'Agata Bolognese, has been a fully-owned subsidiary of AUDI AG since 1998. It currently comprises the sports car manufacturer Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A., the manufacturer of off-shore speedboat engines Motori Marini Lamborghini S.p.A. and the marketing company Lamborghini ArtiMarca S.p.A.
Audi is an international developer and manufacturer of high-quality cars. The company has production operations in a number of countries, including Germany, Hungary, Brazil, China and South Africa. In 1999 Audi produced around 626,000 cars and more than 1.2 million engines, bringing in sales revenues in excess of DM 29 billion. The Audi Group has around 50,000 employees.
