Dr. Jochem Heizmann recommended as new Board Member for Production

The presiding committee of the Supervisory Council of AUDI AG has unanimously recommended to the Supervisory Council that Dr. Jochem Heizmann (48) should be appointed as the new Board Member for Production at AUDI AG at the next regular meeting on 20 December. Heizmann is currently Technical Director and Management Spokesman at Volkswagen Sachsen GmbH and Volkswagen Sachsen Immobilienverwaltungs GmbH in Mosel.
Heizmann was born in Speyer/Rhine in 1952. He studied Industrial Engineering at the University of Karlsruhe (TH) and received his doctorate there in 1980. After entering the automotive industry at Audi NSU Auto-Union AG in Ingolstadt, AUDI AG's predecessor, in 1982, Heizmann took on a number of managerial functions, such as manager of the main technical development department and later of the main assembly department (production). In 1991 Heizmann moved to Volkswagen AG in Wolfsburg where he was initially in charge of Central Planning for Assembly Manufacturing. In 1993 he was appointed Head of Production Planning of the Volkswagen brand. Heizmann has held his current position since 1 January 2000.
Dr. Jochem Heizmann is married and has two children.
