Plambeck takes over "Norderland Nature Energy AG"
Take-over in the wind energy industry - On 17th November 2000
Plambeck Neue Energien AG took over 100% of the shares of Norderland
Nature Energy AG. Since 1991 Norderland Nature Energy AG is active in
the drafting and implementation of wind-parks and is one the booming
and experienced German companies with regard to the realization of
ultra-modern wind-parks. Norderland had planned its IPO, which was
already authorized for the Neuer Markt by the German Stock Exchange,
for mid-December. The former shareholders of the company Norderland,
which is located in Hamburg and Westerholt/Ostfriesland, receive
3,750,000 shares out of the authorized capital of the Plambeck Neue
Energien AG.
With its project business and more than 170 wind-park sites as
well as an investment volume of over 500 mill. DM Norderland is able
to ensure the implementation of wind-parks in 2001/2002. In addition,
Norderland is working on international projects in different
acquisition phases.
Plambeck Neue Energien AG, which went public in December 1998
(Neuer Markt), can contribute to the business thanks to its great
experience in the planning, drafting, construction and operation of
wind-parks and is already provided with the internal structures and
organization units which are necessary for a public limited company.
The projects of Plambeck Neue Energien AG and Norderland harmonize
very well, particularly in the international project business.
Through the take-over Plambeck Neue Energien strengthens the
potentials in the acquisition of sites and in the implementation of
wind-parks. The return on capital and turn-over will be improved
considerably. The shareholders of Norderland continue contributing to
the development of the company with great competence and many
contacts.
As a result of the preparations for the IPO of Norderland,
initially planned, a share value of 280-310 mill. DM can be fixed
considering the proportion between quotation and exchange profit of
17-18 for the year 2001. This fact shows the importance of the profit
situation and the growing professionalism in the wind energy
industry.
After the split-off of the former business division Trade Plambeck
Neue Energien AG concentrates its activities on the core business -
the utilization of renewable energies, particularly the wind energy.
