Image of the month: Time for mom! Flowers, chocolates – or how about a good watch? May 9 is Mother’s Day and deserves suitable recognition. After all, being a parent is not an easy task. Helping with schooling is only one part; preparing children for adult life can mean being a cheerleader, role model, and shoulder to cry on, all rolled into one. Even when the kids leave the nest and enter their own independent lives, mom never gets taken off speed dial. And being a parent is often just one of many roles in a women’s life.
