InterSolar 2012: MBJ Solutions GmbH shows inline electroluminescence inspections system with integrated 2D-cell-measurement
Hamburg (ots)
MBJ Solutions GmbH presents this year at the InterSolar 2012 an inline electroluminescence inspection system with fully integrated and automated 2D cell measurement unit. Therefore the approved electroluminescence inspection system SolarModule EL-inline is equipped with an additional backlight unit. This new unit allows to measure the distances between the solar cells as well as the distance to the glass edge. Doing so enables the module manufacturer to correct defects before lamination. This reliable 2D measurement combined with the electroluminescence inspection is the next step to increase the production automation for a more economic module production. MBJ Solutions GmbH is offering electroluminescence inspection systems through a worldwide sales network.
About MBJ Solutions GmbH:
MBJ Solutions focuses on the development, production and distribution of electroluminescence inspection system for lab or inline implementation in the photovoltaic production process. The electroluminescence technology allows the visualization and detection of defects otherwise not visible by the human eye. These defects are e.g. micro cracks, electrically not active areas or grid failures. Micro cracks can progress over time and lead to a significant loss in module power. Electroluminescence inspection systems from MBJ Solutions are available for all steps in the production process of a solar module.
