init to pay dividend of 30 cents per share
Karlsruhe, March 11, 2010. init innovation in traffic systems AG (ISIN DE 0005759807) plans to pay its shareholders a dividend of EUR 0.30 per share (2008: EUR 0.16) from record profits taken in 2009. In a joint meeting, the Managing Board and the Supervisory Board today agreed to present the shareholders´ meeting set for May 12, 2010 with an appropriate proposal on the appropriation of profits.
init innovation in traffic systems AG generated a consolidated surplus of EUR 8.3m in 2009 (2008: EUR 5.9m). This corresponds to earnings per share of EUR 0.84 (2008: EUR 0.60).
Since the company is also in a good cash position, expects further significant inflow of capital from ongoing projects in 2010 and as a result is able to finance its continued strong growth by itself, the Managing Board and the Supervisory Board consider an increase in dividends appropriate. At the same time, it is hoped this will make the init share more attractive to investors.
