WEB.DE gains 200,000 new registered users
One of the most important valuation parameters of Internet companies is the market capitalization per registered user. WEB.DE, one of the leading Internet services on offer in Germany and product of Karlsruhe based WEB.DE AG, grew by 200,000 to around 1.3 million registered users in May. WEB.DE has thus gained over a million new registered users since the beginning of 2000 and by large outstrips the expectations of the analysts as regards to the IPO. The number of page-impressions increased by 21.3% in May. This growth is also reflected in the Digital Media Audience Ratings of MMXI Europe that was published in April. As regards gross unique pages, WEB.DE (59.997 million) has surpassed T-Online.de (59.380 million), Yahoo.de (34.680 million) and Lycos.de (29.666 million).
