E-Motorcycle "Made in Germany": Brandenburg's Minister of Economic Affairs Jörg Steinbach visits eROCKIT production
Modern LED lightening, aluminium and carbon parts, plus 16,000 watts peak power of a brushless permanent magnet motor. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jörg Steinbach (SPD) sits sporty on the saddle of the unique, pedal-controlled electric motorcycle eROCKIT. The minister is especially proud that the vehicle is an innovation "Made in Brandenburg" and that the production of the eROCKIT is running.
While visiting the eROCKIT facility in Hennigsdorf near Berlin, Jörg Steinbach got extensive information about the two-wheeled vehicle of German engineering. Test rider Sebastian "Satu" Kopke, extreme sportsman and stunt driver, demonstrated the simple, intuitive and clutch-free operation of the eROCKIT. With a top speed of almost 90 km/h, with a battery range of 120 kilometres, safe road holding and a completely new, magical driving experience, the e-motorbike from Germany is that innovation in the two-wheeler segment.
During a tour within the eMobility startup Jörg Steinbach learned about the production and exchanged views on the international opportunities that the vehicle concept of the eROCKIT has to offer for the future of mobility. Steinbach: "I hope that the eROCKIT as an exemplary company from Brandenburg can help shaping the mobility turnaround."
