Brenntag announces new agreement with Corbion for Animal Nutrition in Belgium, The Netherlands and France
Brenntag, the global market leader in chemicals and ingredients distribution, announces a new and exclusive agreement with Corbion Animal Health for the distribution of ALOAPUR in the Animal Nutrition & Health industry in Belgium, The Netherlands and France. ALOAPUR, containing lactylates as active ingredient, targeting Gram positive bacteria, is an essential part of the Total Concept of Brenntag Animal Nutrition to ensure better performance and healthier animals. This new agreement is an important next step and reinforces the collaboration between both companies, which are already working together in the Life Science segments Food, Pharma and Cosmetics.
Brenntag is producing premixtures for the Animal Nutrition and Pet Food industries. These products include premixtures to preserve ingredients against yeast or moulds, prevent contamination of bacteria, stimulate animals’ gut health, prevent oxidation of fats and oils, or create solid solutions of liquid ingredients. All this leads to a reduction of feed waste. The products thus contribute to the company’s sustainability ambition to increase resource efficiency in the whole value chain.
