Mensch und Maschine Software AG: - Annual revenues rise 12% to EUR 115.8 million - EBIT up 50% as planned - Proposed dividend: +22% to EUR 0.28 per share
In fiscal 2000, Mensch und Maschine Software AG (M+M), a leading supplier of CAD solutions, increased its revenues by 12% to the new record level of EUR 115.8 million (previous year: EUR 103.3 million) in spite of the rather difficult market environment. Earnings rose at a clearly disproportionate rate, with earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) up 43% from EUR 5.1 million to EUR 7.3 million. The EBITDA margin stood at 6.3%, after 4.9% in the previous year. The operating result (EBIT) developed even better, rising by 50% from EUR 2.7 million to EUR 4.0 million. The adjusted result after taxes according to IAS increased to EUR 1.6 million (previous year: EUR 1.3 million). Due to the different tax treatment of accumulated losses brought forward, the HGB/DVFA result even reached EUR 2.0 million. All in all, earnings were exactly in line with the forecasts published in August. Subject to approval by the Shareholders' Meeting, M+M's shareholders will participate in the company's successful development by way of the proposed 22% dividend increase to EUR 0.28 per share.
Further details will be announced at today's annual accounts press conference at 11.00 a.m.
