Today, Bertrandt AG's supervisory board appointed Messrs, Ralph Jacoby, Jürgen Michels, Ulrich Subklew and Peter Dorling as new members of the management board with effect as of 1 January 2001 and also appointed Mr. Dietmar Bichler as chairman of the management board.
Mr. Heinz Kenkmann will resign from his position as management board member in agreement with the supervisory board, effective as of 31 December 2000. The supervisory board has resolved to nominate Mr. Heinz Kenkmann for the position of supervisory board member in the shareholders' meeting to be convened later this month.
The turnover of the Bertrandt Group in the recent business year
1999/2000 amounted to DM 377 Mio (GGAAP "HGB") whereas the operating
profit ("Ergebnis der gewöhnlichen Geschäftstätigkeit") of the group
amounted to DM 3,6 Mio (GGAAP "HGB"). The management board and
supervisory board have resolved to propose to the shareholders'
meeting to be convened later this month that the net profits
("Bilanzgewinn") of Bertrandt AG for the business year 1999/2000 in
the amount of DM 1,337,189.56 be carried forward to new account.Further, the management board and supervisory board have resolved to propose to the shareholders' meeting to be convened later this month that the company be authorized to acquire its own shares.
