1) The Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc, Edinburgh, United Kingdom, informed us
pursuant to Sections 21 Paragraph 1 WpHG that their percentage holding of the
voting rights in K+S Aktiengesellschaft fell below the threshold of 3% on
13.05.2011 and amounted to 2.286% (4,376,522 voting shares) on that day.

2.27% of the voting rights (4,344,746 voting shares) are attributable to The
Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc, pursuant to Section 22 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1
No. 1 WpHG.

0.0166% of the voting rights (31,776 voting shares) are attributable to The
Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc, pursuant to Section 22 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1
No. 6 in connection with Sentence 2 WpHG.

2) RFS Holdings B.V., Amsterdam, The Netherlands, informed us pursuant to
Sections 21 Paragraph 1 WpHG that their percentage holding of the voting rights
in K+S Aktiengesellschaft fell below the threshold of 3% on 13.05.2011 and
amounts to 2.27% (4,344,746 voting shares) on that day.

All of the voting rights are attributable to RFS Holdings B.V., pursuant to
Section 22 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 No. 1 WpHG.

3) RBS Holdings N.V., Amsterdam, The Netherlands, informed us pursuant to
Sections 21 Paragraph 1 WpHG that their percentage holding of the voting rights
in K+S Aktiengesellschaft fell below the threshold of 3% on 13.05.2011 and
amounts to 2.27% (4,344,746 voting shares) on that day.

All of the voting rights are attributable to RBS Holdings N.V., pursuant to
Section 22 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 No. 1 WpHG.

4) The Royal Bank of Scotland N.V., Amsterdam, The Netherlands, informed us
pursuant to Sections 21 Paragraph 1 WpHG that their percentage holding of the
voting rights in K+S Aktiengesellschaft fell below the threshold of 3% on
13.05.2011 and amounts to 2.27% (4,344,746 voting shares) on that day.
