Munich, February 8, 2006. The ProSiebenSat.1 Group had a very
successful fiscal 2005. Germany’s largest commercial television
corporation boosted both revenues and earnings substantially. From a
first analysis of preliminary figures for 2005, the Company expects
revenues of EUR 1.990 billion, an 8.4 percent gain from the previous
year (EUR 1.835 billion). Preliminary EBITDA is at EUR 418.5 million,
up 30 percent from the previous year (EUR 321.3 million). Pre-tax
profit grew 61 percent in 2005, from EUR 217.5 million to EUR 350.7
million. Consolidated profit increased by 65 percent, from EUR 133.6
million to EUR 220.9 million. The EBITDA margin for the year improved
to 21.0 percent, compared to 17.5 percent in 2004. After adjustment
for the costs of 9Live, total costs were at the same level as the
year before.

The substantial rise in EBITDA and pre-tax earnings resulted from the
year’s higher revenues in the second half and especially in the
fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter of last year, Group revenues
were up 18 percent to EUR 636.0 million, compared to EUR 540.2
million a year earlier. EBITDA grew 50 percent, from the EUR 112.2
million of Q4 2004 to EUR 167.8 million.
