Bonn, 9. Februar 2021: DHL Global Forwarding, Freight der Spezialist für Luft-, Seefracht und Landtransport von Deutsche Post DHL Group, wurde zum zweiten Mal in Folge vom Top Employers Institute als globaler Top Employer 2021 ausgezeichnet. Die Zertifizierung bestätigt die Leistung von DHL bei der Umsetzung von erfolgreichen HR-Maßnahmen, wenn es etwa um die Förderung eines positiven Arbeitsumfeldes oder auch die persönliche und berufliche Entwicklung seiner Beschäftigten geht. Neben der Zertifizierung als Top Employer 2021 global wurde DHL Global Forwarding, Freight auch in Deutschland und 34 weiteren Ländern in Europa, Afrika, Asien, Lateinamerika sowie dem Nahen Osten als Top-Arbeitgeber geehrt. Das globale Zertifizierungsprogramm des Top Employers Institute zeichnet jedes Jahr Unternehmen in teilnehmenden Ländern aus, die sich kontinuierlich für ein herausragendes Arbeitsumfeld für ihre Beschäftigten einsetzen.
Während der Pandemie hat Deutsche Post DHL Group seinen Unternehmenszweck mehr denn je unter Beweis gestellt: „Menschen verbinden. Leben verbessern.“ Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter haben rund um die Uhr gearbeitet, um die Versorgung mit medizinischem Material und Schutzausrüstung sicherzustellen – dies hat umso mehr das Engagement und die Bedeutung jedes einzelnen Beschäftigten bei DHL Global Forwarding und im Rest des Konzerns gezeigt.

Das Programm des Top Employers Institute zertifiziert Organisationen auf Basis der Teilnahme an und der Ergebnisse ihrer HR Best Practices Befragung. Diese Befragung deckt sechs HR-Bereiche mit jeweils 20 Themen wie Mitarbeiterstrategie, Arbeitsumfeld, Talentgewinnung, Weiterbildung, Wohlbefinden und Diversität & Inklusion und viele mehr ab. DHL Global Forwarding, Freight hat erneut in all diesen Bereichen seine Stärken bewiesen.
Bei DHL Global Forwarding werden Trainingsmöglichkeiten und Programme zur Talententwicklung laufend überprüft und an den Branchenanforderungen gemessen. Sämtliche Beschäftigten durchlaufen nach der Einarbeitung mit dem DHL Certified International Forwarder (CIF) oder dem DHL Certified Freight Specialist (CFS) ein auf ihren Arbeitsschwerpunkt zugeschnittenes Trainingsprogramm. Dadurch wird sichergestellt, dass alle Mitarbeiter eine Verbundenheit mit dem Geschäft und der Strategie von DHL entwickeln können, in allen Ländern die gleichen Werte leben und den Kunden herausragende Leistungen liefern.
Außerdem hat DHL Global Forwarding, Freight Initiativen zur Förderung von Diversität und Inklusion im Unternehmen gestartet. Beispielsweise erleichtert die Initiative „Frauen bei DHL Global Forwarding, Freight“ mehr Frauen den Einstieg in Führungspositionen. Ziel der Initiative von DHL Global Forwarding, Freight ist es, sich für eine Kultur der Chancengleichheit einzusetzen, indem man flexible Arbeitsmodelle, Transparenz und Karriereförderung anbietet.
Die Initiative „Well-being at DHL Global Forwarding, Freight“ untersucht – ebenfalls in Übereinstimmung mit den Top Employer Bedingungen – wie sich Aufgaben, Erwartungen, Stresslevel und Arbeitsumfeld auf die allgemeine Gesundheit und Zufriedenheit von Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern auswirken und trägt so zum Mitarbeiterengagement im Unternehmen bei. Gerade in so herausfordernden Zeiten, in denen eine globale Pandemie fast jeden Aspekt des Lebens beeinflusst, sind ein Puls-Check und aktive Maßnahmen zur Steigerung des Wohlbefindens der Beschäftigten entscheidend. DHL Global Forwarding hat daher alle Maßnahmen für das Wohlbefinden in drei Aktivitäten zusammengefasst: Be Social, Be Present, Be Active.

Bonn, February 9, 2021: DHL Global Forwarding, Freight, the air, ocean and road freight specialist of Deutsche Post DHL Group, was recognized by the Top Employers Institute as global Top Employer for 2021. The certification attests to DHL’s achievement in implementing HR best practices, focused on fostering a positive work environment and encouraging its employees’ personal and professional development. In addition, to being certified Top Employer 2021 globally, DHL Global Forwarding, Freight was also once again named Top Employer in 35 countries spanning Africa, Asia, Latin-America, the Middle East and Europe. The Top Employers Institute Global Certification Program annually certifies and recognizes companies in participating countries who demonstrate a continuous commitment to providing the very best work environment for their employees.
