Marketing boosts digital expertise

Jenny Fleischer named Vice President Marketing Excellence

Ottobock is strengthening its Marketing team. Jenny Fleischer has been nominated Vice President Marketing Excellence at the international med-tech company since the end of November.

"I'm very pleased that we were able to appoint someone with such a wealth of experience to this position. Ms Fleischer will give us the impetus we need to transform our marketing to become more digital and sustainable, with a focus on users and clients" says CEO Philipp Schulte-Noelle.

With this new expertise on board, the leading innovator in orthopaedic technology is aiming to prepare its Marketing department for the implementation of its growth strategy. Ms Fleischer's digital expertise in particular will drive these efforts. The company, which has 58 locations around the world, is working to develop a digital marketing strategy and implement it at the local level.

Ms Fleischer most recently served as Vice President and Global Head of Digital Excellence at Bayer Consumer Health AG in Basel. In her new role, she will be managing the Portfolio Management, Marketing Intelligence, Market Access, Events & Exhibitions, Business Development and Digital Marketing departments as well as the Global Academy. Ms Fleischer reports directly to CEO Philipp Schulte-Noelle, who assumed temporary leadership of Ottobock's Sales & Marketing area following Ralf Stuch's departure from his role as Executive Director.
