Commerzbank appoints new head of foreign exchange trading

Commerzbank has appointed Edward (Ted) Voorhees as Head of FX Trading. He previously worked at Deutsche Bank, London.
Mr. Voorhees is an American who studied at the University of Chicago followed by five years with Citibank as Spot, Interest and Chief Option Trader. Since 1994 he has worked for Deutsche Bank as Global Option Head of the European Currencies Block before he took over as Head of FX Trading London (Options, Spot, Forwards and Prop. Trading).
In his various functions Mr. Voorhees worked in New York, Bahrain, London and about four years altogether in Frankfurt.
Dr. Rudolph Duttweiler, head of Treasury, said "I am pleased to welcome Ted Voorhees on board and I am sure he will continue to boost the FX business of Commerzbank."
Mr. Voorhees will be located in London but will spend about half of each working week in Frankfurt.
