Vienna / Frankfurt, 20. November 2009. C-QUADRAT Investment AG (ISIN AT0000613005) intends to sell its 98.4%-stake in C-QUADRAT Private Investments AG to a private consortium subject to approval of the supervisory board and the Austrian Financial Market Supervisory Authority.
By taking this step C-QUADRAT follows up its strategy started at the end of 2008 to focus on its core asset management business. The retail business will continue to be covered by licensed distribution partners and banks.
Concerning the purchase price has been agreed to maintain silence.
C-QUADRAT- the fund company - is an independent asset manager operating across Europe.
