New watch releases at Watches & Wonders
Watches and wonders
For the first time: NOMOS Glashütte is attending the haute horology trade fair Watches & Wonders in Geneva, where the watchmaking company will present its first new releases of the year.
GLASHÜTTE, MARCH 2021. This spring, for the first time in its history, the Glashütte watchmaking company NOMOS Glashütte is traveling to a trade fair in Geneva—to be broadcast live and online. The watch world has had to adapt to the global pandemic: To enable industry professionals from across the world to attend this event, Watches & Wonders will take place in the digital sphere from April 7 to 13. The trade fair is organized by the independent Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie (FHH), the Swiss institution for the advancement of fine watchmaking, which accepted NOMOS Glashütte into its ranks in 2017.
NOMOS Glashütte is a unique attraction—even in the world of fine watchmaking. This is because all of its calibers are proprietary developments and produced in-house. As such, NOMOS Glashütte has been identified as an independent watchmaking company from A to Z. The 175-year-old tradition of handcraft native to this watchmaking town combines with modern methods of research and design to produce the watches of NOMOS Glashütte. Or, as NOMOS CEO Uwe Ahrendt puts it: “Our past helps us to build fine, long-lasting watches for the future.”
The watchmaking company will present its first new watch releases of 2021 at the trade fair. If you would like to visit NOMOS Glashütte at Watches & Wonders, just get in touch with us. We’d be delighted to send you an invitation and arrange your accreditation.
