This makes FACC an approved Design Organization within the European aviation industry, authorized to independently develop and approve designs for modifications and repairs. Approval was granted bythe European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) after FACC, in coordination with the Austrian Aviation Authority - Austro Control GmbH, had demonstrated fulfillment of all the relevant requirements during the course of the comprehensive approval process. With this approval it is now possible for FACC to modify aircraft components, approve repair instructions and establish and publish amendments to aircraft flight manuals. Approval was granted for CS- 23 normal, utility, aerobatic and commuter aeroplanes and CS-25 large aeroplanes. As an approved Design Organization (DO), FACC is monitored by the authorities and audited by Austro Control at regular intervals as well.
