Va-Q-tec and Unitrans Ltd. Sign Partnership Agreement for Small Box Rental

va-Q-tec and Unitrans Ltd. are very pleased to announce their strategic partnership for high performance thermal packaging solutions in Japan. Unitrans Ltd., a Mitsubishi Logistics Group company will be offering box fulfillment services based on va-Q-tec's superior temp chain packaging portfolio.
Advanced passive box rentals with va-Q-proof, now offered by Unitrans provide temperature controlled solutions for three standard temperature ranges: -25°C to -15°C, +2°C to +8°C and +15°C to +25°C in several sizes. Through optimally integrating high-performance insulation with vacuum insulation panels (VIPs) and the storage of thermal energy by means of phase change materials (PCMs), the packaging systems of va-Q-tec hold temperatures constant up to 144 hours.
Unitrans COO, Yuji Fujita, sees great potential in the partnership with va-Q-tec, "Osaka is an important distribution hub for pharmaceuticals in Japan. The Fulfillment Centre at Unitrans will begin offering va-Q-tec's small-box rental service to customers in June 2018.
