Steigenberger Hotels and Resorts have won a prestigious "Service Champion Award" for the sixth time in succession by once again emerging victorious in the "Premium Hotels" category. The company also saw off 2,895 companies in 325 branches to secure this year's overall title.

First in branch and overall winner in Germany's most extensive service ranking

Frankfurt am Main, 18 October 2017

Steigenberger Hotels and Resorts have won a prestigious "Service Champion Award" for the sixth time in succession by once again emerging victorious in the "Premium Hotels" category. The company also saw off 2,895 companies in 325 branches to secure this year's overall title.

The annual Service Ranking Awards involve evaluating and analysing numerous companies from a customer point of view. "Service Champion" is Germany's major service award and is an initiative launched by the Goethe University of Frankfurt am Main and the newspaper DIE WELT in conjunction with the Cologne-based analysis company Service Value GmbH.

"We are extremely proud to celebrate yet another overall Service Champion victory," comments COO Thomas Willms the success of Deutsche Hospitality's traditional hotel brand. "Above all, this award reflects the outstanding commitment shown by our staff on a daily basis as they work to ensure the satisfaction of our guests. It is our employees who breathe life into our corporate philosophy and communicate it externally." When the Steigenberger Hotel München will open its doors in December, the brand will be present in the Bavarian Capital for the very first time.
