TTL AGs managing board will have gratifying news throughout to
announce at todays balance sheet and analysts conference presenting
the financial statements for 1999: TTL Information Technology AG,
Germanys top-ranking supplier of integrated all- inclusive packages
on the Neuer Markt, achieved pretax earnings in the 1999 business
year of DM 7.8 million, from revenues of DM 63 million; this
corresponds to an increase over the preceding year (DM 4.1 million)
of 89.9 %. Notwithstanding the expenses incurred during 1999 in
connection with the initial stock exchange listing, the budgeted
profit was exceeded by 24.2 %, with a net pretax profit of DM 1.4
million. The DVFA/ SG (German Association of Financial Analysts and
Investment Consultants /Schmalenbach-Gesellschaft) result rose by as
much as DM 1.3 million over 1998 to reach DM 4.9 million (+ 35.7 %).
Since TTL AG usually rents out mainframe systems to its customers,
the level of investment activity is a crucial yardstick for growth of
revenues in 2000: here, with investments of 99.4 million DM, TTL
outstripped by 93.3 % the previous years figure of DM 51.4 million.
In view of the excellent figures for the past business year, the
managing board is extremely optimistic for 2000 as well. By acquiring
1st Data Solution Vertriebs-GmbH as a wholly owned subsidiary,
moreover, the company has gained a partner which significantly
broadens the customer base as well as substantially expanding the TTL
Groups product portfolio by contributing Sun and SGI options. TTLs
war-chest remains full, since 1st Data Solution is being acquired by
way of a non-cash capital increase to be approved by the AGM in
Regensburg on 27 April 2000. The AGM will also be asked to vote on
future capital-related initiatives, since the next acquisition, a
strategically important investment in the USA, is already on the
immediate agenda.
