Bonn, Dubai, 24. Januar, 2024: DHL Global Forwarding, der Luft- und Seefrachtspezialist von DHL Group, hat die Übernahme der vollständigen Anteile an Danzas AEI Emirates final vollzogen. Alle Einrichtungen firmieren ab sofort unter dem Namen DHL Global Forwarding und tragen das DHL Branding. Die vollständige Integration bringt nicht nur eine Veränderung des Logos und des Namens mit sich, sondern verbessert mit der Übernahme von rund 1.100 Logistikexperten und über 20 Niederlassungen auch die operativen Fähigkeiten. Dies wird zu effizienteren und nahtlosen Logistikdienstleistungen für Kunden in den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten, dem Golf-Kooperationsrat und in der MEA-Region führen. Mit dieser Integration festigt DHL Global Forwarding seine Position als Marktführer im Bereich Transport und Logistik in Dubai und beschleunigt weiter das Wachstum des Logistikgeschäfts in der MEA-Region. Im Berichtsjahr 2022 erwirtschaftete DHL Group in der Region einen Umsatz von 4,16 Milliarden Euro.

Seit seiner Gründung im Jahr 1995 als Joint Venture zwischen der Al Tayer Group und DHL Global Forwarding hat Danzas AEI Emirates eine entscheidende Rolle bei der Entwicklung der Region als globale Logistikdrehscheibe gespielt. Nach der Integration betreibt DHL Global Forwarding über mehr als 20 hochmoderne Einrichtungen von Danzas in Dubai und den nördlichen Emiraten, darunter wichtige Standorte in der Jebel Ali Freezone, dem Dubai World Central (Al Maktoum International Airport) und der Dubai Airport Free Zone, einschließlich der neuesten Station in Ras Al Khaimah.

Bonn, Dubai, January 24, 2024: DHL Global Forwarding, the freight specialist arm of the DHL Group, has completed the acquisition of shares in Danzas AEI Emirates, with all facilities now rebranded to DHL. The full integration not only brings a transformation in logo and name but also enhances operational capabilities with the transfer of 1,100 logistics experts and ownership of over 20 facilities. This will result in more efficient and seamless logistics services for customers in the UAE, GCC, and MEA (Middle East and Africa) region. With this integration, DHL Global Forwarding solidifies its position as a market leader in freight forwarding and logistics in Dubai, further accelerating the growth of the logistics business in the MEA region. In 2022, DHL Group generated a revenue of €4,161 million in the region.
