Brenntag Food & Nutrition and Vitalus Nutrition sign new agreement in North America
The Brenntag Food & Nutrition business unit in North America, part of the Brenntag Group, signs a new agreement with Vitalus Nutrition Inc. for the distribution of VITAGOS(TM) in the United States and Canada.
Vitalus Nutrition focuses on unlocking the nutritional value of milk and transforming its components into ingredients used in nutritional food and beverage applications, like VITAGOS(TM). VITAGOS(TM), a galacto-oligosaccharide (GOS) containing syrup, is accepted as Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) for its intended uses in the United States. GOS is a non-digestible carbohydrate produced from lactose which is used as a prebiotic and dietary fiber.
