Green hydrogen, power generation and the HYFLEXPOWER project

The HYFLEXPOWER consortium organises a public event to explore policy and non-policy pathways to enable power-to-hydrogen-to-power solutions, which are essential to reach the EU’s net-zero target, and to discuss the barriers and drivers for the industry to upscale successful green H2 projects in Europe.
HYFLEXPOWER is a four-year project funded by the European Union under the Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme. It has been at the forefront of innovation in the field of sustainable energy and power generation, focusing on the role of hydrogen as a key component of the future energy landscape serving as a flexible energy storage solution to power high-capacity industrial turbines. The project has recently demonstrated an integrated industrial power-to-hydrogen-to-power solution with 100% green hydrogen for carbon-free energy production from stored excess renewable energy.
In this final phase of the project, the HYFLEXPOWER consortium organises a public event to explore policy and non-policy pathways to enable power-to-hydrogen-to-power as essential to reach the EU’s net-zero target. The policy roundtable will allow policymakers, manufacturers, and end-users to discuss the barriers and drivers for the industry to upscale successful green H2 projects in Europe.
