June is Pride Month: This coming month there’ll be parades, parties, marches as well as rallies, demonstrations, and protests around the world. Some people love men, others love women, others again love both men and women, then there are those among us who are cisgender, aromantic, asexual or intersex. People consist of many preferences and nuances.
NOMOS Glashütte thinks that’s a good thing. In all cases, the Glashütte brand aims to be inclusive of all people and unbiased with its wristwatches. That’s why it makes watches for a broad spectrum of people—and always has. Currently, NOMOS Glashütte has a series of limited square watch models, launched to celebrate 175 years of Glashütte watchmaking. They reflect this art from A to Z. These models are for those who do not follow the mainstream, but their own paths: wonderfully enamel-like, glossy dials in red, off white, black and blue; watches with corners and angles—a little edgy. Judith Borowski, Co-Managing Director at NOMOS Glashütte: “This series isn’t for everyone, but for some, Tetra neomatik – 175 Years Watchmaking Glashütte is just right. And for us, it’s a sign of tolerance and democracy.” These new NOMOS watches are in stores just in time for Pride Month, currently being celebrated by the LGBTQ community worldwide.
